In one sentence: FRISO stops being an execution tool and becomes a workspace for creative people, where references, projects, content, files and your creative team live together.
When FRISO opened in September, it was a set of tools for making posts and motion in the browser. People used it, and I kept using it in my own work. Until I started paying attention to where my projects actually lived, and the answer wasn't FRISO. It wasn't any tool. The brief was in a chat, the references in a folder of screenshots, the tasks in an organizer I had built for myself, and the piece in whatever software I opened at the end.
The piece is the last part of the work. Most of a creative project happens before it: understanding the brief, gathering references, finding the idea, choosing, planning. And after it: the revisions, the approval, the delivery, keeping what worked. A tool that only covers the end of the process makes you carry everything else by hand.
Where this comes from
It comes from my own work. On Made in Caos, the vertical web series I made with Pedro Sampaio and Coca-Cola, I handled concept, script, direction and post-production. On a project like that, the idea, the references, the script, the cuts and the versions for approval have to talk to each other all the time, and I was constantly stitching them together across different places. That's when it became clear that what was missing wasn't another app. It was a place where the whole project lives.
What FRISO is now
Creating isn't just executing. Creating means exploring ideas, organizing projects and files, and bringing them to life right there. FRISO is that space.
- References that work with your project. Save from anywhere, with the author and a link to the original, on boards you can view as a grid or a moodboard. Each board links to a project, a brand or a piece of content, so your research follows the work from brief to delivery instead of getting lost in a folder.
- Projects and content in one place. Projects with the nine stages of creative work, from brief to archive, with tasks, notes and dates. Content with a calendar, linked to the project and brand it came from.
- FRISO Files. Made the piece outside FRISO? Upload it to FRISO Files to organize it and send it for approval, linked to its project, client and content. The right version sits where everyone looks for it.
- Your creative team, together. Share projects, boards and files with the people you create with, and get approvals in the same place the work lives.
- Bring it to life right there. Motion, Layout, Lettering and Assets are still in the browser, with export to After Effects, for when an idea needs to take shape on the spot.
As a motion designer, I'll keep improving these tools and looking for new things to build across FRISO as a whole. The difference is that they're no longer the whole story: they're the rooms where the work takes shape, inside a home where it begins.
What it won't be
- Not a system for the whole company. In FRISO, a team means the creative and content team, never sales or finance. A creative system, not a business system.
- Not a blank page. Every project starts with the stages of creative work ready, and you're free inside each one.
- Not an AI that has the idea for you. FRISO's AI helps you develop your idea, turns a messy brief or a voice note into order, and helps with copy. If you use your own AI, it can connect to FRISO too.
Free, for real
The free plan lets you discover, organize and create for real, with no time limit and no card: unlimited references across 5 boards, 1 active project, 1 brand, 100 MB of attachments and no watermark on what you export. Pro is for when you need freedom: unlimited projects, boards and brands, the AI, more storage and editable exports.
Let's build it together
I want FRISO to have a real community, creative people who help decide what this home needs, so that together we make FRISO the space where people who create feel at home. Every project runs into a new obstacle, and every obstacle shows something still missing. If you've hit one, tell me at contact@frvisuals.com.br.
